CABINS AT COTTONWOOD
Big Sky, Montana is an affluent ski town which struggles to provide affordable housing options for its working class. The project aim was for higher-density affordable housing within
the Town Center, which is a mix of residential and commercial development.
The design goal was to create two simple, modern, and repeatable units that still held true to the strict design regulations within the Town Center.
The end result was a highly energy efficient 1100 sq ft townhouse and 1600 sq ft townhouse that, even when repeated, created a dynamic neighborhood.
